Principal's Welcome

On behalf of the whole school community, I would like to offer a warm welcome to Wold Academy. I am very proud to be the Principal of our school, leading a dedicated staff team who are committed to ensuring our pupils achieve their very best.

At Wold, we believe in providing a safe, inclusive and inspiring environment, where staff support all pupils to nurture unique talents, fostering a love of learning and promoting personal growth both academically and socially.

We place a strong emphasis on the values of respect, kindness and responsibility, ensuring that our school is not just a place of education but also a community where children feel valued, supported and motivated.

At our school we want every child to feel happy and secure but also be challenged to shine. Whether it is through academic excellence, personal development, or extra-curricular activities, we aim to provide every child with the tools they need to succeed in life.

We have over 400 pupils on roll and cater for pupils aged from 2 to 11 years old. Our pupils benefit from a modern spacious building with amazing outdoor space. This allows our children to experience a remarkable range of enrichment activities: from music to sport, forest schools to cookery and much more!

Through a rich and diverse curriculum, we challenge our students to think critically, work collaboratively, and discover their passions and talents. We believe our school provides an excellent balance of quality teaching alongside outstanding pastoral provision.
