Uniform
At Wold Academy, we believe that uniform promotes a feeling of identity and pride.
Children are expected to arrive at school in the correct uniform, looking smart and ready to learn.
The school’s uniform can be bought from any high street store or supermarket. Optional items with the school logo are available directly from Rawcliffes Schoolwear, Hull Rawcliffes Schoolwear

White or pale blue polo shirt (which must be tucked in)
- Royal blue jumper or cardigan.
- Grey or black tailored trousers (no leggings/jeggings), tailored shorts (no cycling shorts or leisure shorts), knee length skirts or pinafores.
- Blue gingham dress or gingham all in one short suit.
- Black polishable shoes (no trainers, boots, sandals, canvas shoes or high heels. Leisure shoes of any description are not permitted including high heels. Shoes should not display logos).
- White/black/grey tights or socks
• Hair accessories in school colours of white, grey, black or blue (these must be of modest size)
Please ensure that clothing and belongings are labelled with your child's full name.
Our school council has introduced a uniform recycling station (called Wold Wardrobe) in the entrance so we can help promote sustainability.
In addition:
- No nail varnish
- No fake tattoos
- No jewellery. If ears are pierced, one pair of small studs may be worn these must be removed for PE or covered with tape brought in from home. (Facial or nose studs and body piercings are not allowed)
- Watches may be worn, but no smart watches
- Long hair must be tied up for PE
- No shaved patterns in hair and no coloured hair
- No hats indoors.
- We expect a high standard of dress from Wold Academy children. Extremes of fashion in hairstyles, including hair colour, or clothing are not suitable for general school wear.
