Wold Academy

At Wold Academy we pride ourselves on creating a safe and fun environment for our children to learn, grow and develop lasting friendships.

Safeguarding

At Wold Academy safeguarding is at the heart of everything that we do. Our children have a right to be kept safe and feel happy at school. Safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone who works at Wold.

At Wold Academy we will ensure:-

-The welfare of our children is paramount,

-Concerns about children are dealt with in a timely manner,

-All staff who work in or visit the school are aware of who they need to report concerns to,

-All visitors will wear a badge stating they are visitors so the children know this. If we have seen your DBS check you will have a green lanyard and if we have not seen a DBS check, you will have a red lanyard. All school staff wear a blue lanyard,

-Staff have received up to date training,

- The children are educated n how to keep themselves and others safe.

We have a dedicated and supportive safeguarding team who work with children across the school, families and external agencies, in providing the support needed for their wellbeing and safety.  Our safeguarding Team includes:

Julia Eley - Principal

Liz Everingham _ Vice Principal

Charlotte Angell - SENDCO

Emily Coates - F2 teacher

Skye Savage - Parent liaison

Maria Dennison - Academy Administrator
