Nursery and The Beehive
Nursery & Beehive Team Lead: Miss Angell
Beehive Assistants: Mrs Loftus & Mrs Woodcock
Nursery Assistants: Mrs Bottomley, Miss Hazel & Mrs Walker
Wold Nursery opened its doors in its new site in September 2016. The setting includes 'The Beehive' which cares for children from two years of age.
In The Beehive, we cater and care for children from 2 years of age, ensuring that they are ready for the transition to the nursery setting. Our children in The Beehive are known to us as our 'Bumblebees' and have their own dedicated indoor and outdoor settings with quality provision which meets their stage of development. Children also access other provision within the school, including the PE hall where they have their weekly Horizons session with the PE specialist, Coach Paul.
Children from 3 years of age thrive in our nursery setting. We have dedicated staff who use the indoor and outdoor environments, their knowledge of the children and their relationships with families to enable children to make lots of progress.
'Leaders have designed an ambitious curriculum that meets the needs of children in the Early Years, including the two-year-olds' (Ofsted, 2021)
