Year 3/4 Historians

Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic day full of history whilst learning about Romans in Britain. We had the chance to dress up and become archaeologists as we discovered artefacts with Mrs Riley and learnt about the Parisi Tribe. We also learnt about Claudius’ successful invasion of Britain in 43AD, the origins of Hadrian's Wall and all about  Boudicca ,the fierce Celtic warrior, and created speeches inspired by her. To top it off we invited our parents and carers in at the end of the day to be involved with some Roman activities and games.
