We have continued to radiate positivity and spread that throughout the school with our little notes of kindness and our positive smiles. The children have really enjoyed passing these to each other, Mrs Riley has had to keep topping them up!

Spring is definitely on its way, and we have celebrated this by creating a rather fabulous display of butterflies in the peer art and nurture sessions. The children have really worked hard to make each butterfly  reflect their journey of change,  Mrs Riley loved that they’re all individual and unique, just like the amazing children that use The Launch Pad.

We have a quiet corner in the launchpad. It holds many functions such as a safe space to self-regulate, somewhere quiet to read and a place to chat with friends. One of our lovely year Six children suggested that we should have a message on the wall to remind anybody who is sad that there’s a lot of love in the launchpad. A group of year five and six children worked together to make this lovely display, they wanted to represent what love means to them and how it is seen within our nurture room, well done everyone who took part.

After the Easter break our TLP theme will be Celebrations and Positive, Personal Progress and as always, Mrs Riley will look forward to sharing everything that the children have been discovering about themselves and creating.
