In F2 we have started our first Talk For Writing story, ‘The Little Red Hen’. The boys and girls helped gather the tools and ingredients needed to bake the bread. They washed their hands, began mixing before finally kneading the bread, just like the Little Red Hen. This enhanced our Design and Technology ‘Food and Nutrition’ unit beautifully. We paid a visit to the cookery room where an adult put our dough in the oven.

“Who will help me eat the bread?” Asked The Little Red Hen. 

“I will!” Said the boys and girls.

 We were delighted to see our baked bread rolls and we took them home to enjoy with our families. They smelt delicious.
