Lighting up Y2
Year 2 have been busy exploring their exciting new science topic on electricity. They have been learning how to build simple circuits using bulbs and batteries, discovering how to make them light up and understanding what happens when a circuit is complete.
Alongside this, the children have been developing their creativity in art through weaving. Inspired by the vibrant work of Xenobia Bailey, they have experimented with colour, pattern and texture to create their own beautiful woven pieces.
We are very proud of their curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm across both subjects!
