The final week of half term was especially exciting, as we visited the Allam Sport Centre twice to compete in the Futsal Finals.

First up were the Under 9s, who performed superbly and secured bronze medals following a thrilling 3–2 victory in the 3rd/4th playoff. A special mention goes to Arthur R, who was awarded the MVP and received an additional medal for his outstanding performances.

Next, our Under 11s stepped onto the court. Having previously won the competition in Year 4, there was excitement and determination within the squad. Despite being made up mainly of Year 5 pupils, the team rose to the challenge — winning three matches and drawing one in the group stages to secure a place in the final.

The final against East Park was a tense encounter, finishing 1–1, just as it had in the group stages. After extra time couldn’t separate the teams, the match went to penalties. Following some excellent strikes and crucial saves, we emerged victorious — bringing the Futsal trophy back to school!
