The F 1 children have been enjoying their new science topic ' materials'. We have recapped over our senses topic and discussed which of the five senses we would use for the activity' what's in the box'. The children knew straight away that it was touch. They then had to put their hand in the box and describe what the object felt like. We had already completed a lot of work on describing materials and created a word bank of super words so when they were completing the activity they remembered the words we had collected previously. We were very proud of them all.
