Children's Mental Health Week in the Launchpad
Happy Children's Mental Health Week from the Launch Pad! The theme for this year is 'this is my place'. The children have been celebrating the Launch Pad being one of their places of belonging in school and sharing what it means to them. Some of your children who access me may bring home a leaflet celebrating belonging for children's mental health week. It has lots of meaningful activities and has been created by ELSA, currently there are two ELSA's in school myself and Miss Savage.
Peer Art
We are busy creating lots of new art featuring the theme of belonging and friendship we have nearly competed the new whole school display of what does friendship feel like? The children have used a digital art to create the banners you see in the photo. Being part of peer art allows the children to not only be creative but foster a sense of belonging, it is so lovely to see the children work together and inspire positive change in others.
