Amazing Achievement at DRET Northern Winter Cup
***Winter Cup Champions***
A massive congratulations to all the children who represented the school at the prestigious Winter Cup at 
Grimsby on Tuesday. The football team ran out overall winners, winning 6 of their 8 games and drawing the other 2. The team also went through the full competition without conceding a goal. Furthermore, this team contained 5 Year Four children so this makes the achievement even more impressive. Lastly, Amelia, our goalkeeper has now completed 3 Winter Cup competitions without conceding a goal, a feat never completed before and likely never to be surpassed.

The netball team came 3rd overall and played amazingly well. Coach Jack has ensured the team has made remarkable progress which led to the team winning 7 of their 9 games. This is again an outstanding achievement and helped secure the overall Winter Cup victory for Wold.
This now means that Wold has held this title since 2018 and we now look forward to the Champions Cup in Loughborough next half term!
