Activities
We encourage specialists in fields such as drama and sport to come in and provide fun activities for our children.
Other school-run opportunities include:
Dance, music tuition, drama performances and concerts, ensuring that our children can develop their hobbies and interests.
We also try to provide events throughout the school year to enrich our pupils' learning experiences. This has included events such as celebrating World Book Day by getting the children to dress as their favourite storybook character and to bring in their favourite book!
Off-site visits are also essential in bringing the curriculum to life. For this reason, regular educational visits are arranged for all children as part of their work. In years 3-6 pupils are able to participate in residential experiences. The children are able to enjoy the experiences of the wider world whilst learning about how to organise themselves away from home.
Wold Out of School Club
Wold Academy is an extended school.
This means that we are able to provide childcare from 7.30am to 6pm each day.

Care from 3.30pm to 6pm is provided by our on-site out of school club - 'Buzz Club'.
Holiday care is also provided on a needs basis during half terms, the Easter holidays and the first four weeks of the Summer holidays. Buzz club is closed over Christmas.
